Hello, my name is Deni Cahya Nurjaya and I just turned 29 years old 2 days ago. I'm from Indonesia and I make this blog because i want to make money from blogging. I choose this path because i got tempted with the amount of the money from the successful blogger made. Some of them can even earn $2.000 - $20.000 a month which is very huge for me.
In this post i'm gonna write and tell you how i start my blogging life in order to get money. This past few months i've been reading and browsing the internet on how to make money online. Some of the website giving clues, tutorial and even service to help me to get start with it. I don't even know how to start this blogging because i have no interest and no skills at writing.
After i get the basic knowledge on how they earned the money, i start to asking help from my friends in Facebook. The majority of my friend lists in my Facebook is friends that i know from online games. After asking some of them, there is 1 person that actually willing to teach me on how to get money from Google Adsense. His name is Ricky and he's my childhood friend, several years ago he moved to another city but we still in contact with Facebook and sometime we play together in Rohan Online.
The first thing he teach me is how to make money from Google Adsense with YouTube product. He told me that basically all i have to do is uploading videos, monetize it and keep doing it everyday. I followed him and he even helping me from scratch and step by step.
I made new Google account, sign up in youtube, upload videos and then sign up in Google Adsense. That is the first step of making money from YouTube (I won't go into detail on how do those things, you can just google it and there are dozens of article that can help you start with it). After a few days uploading videos, i'm very depressed because my videos only gain very little view, some of them even have no view at all. I think it is because i upload random videos (not a specific niche) and i choose Indonesia as my target view. It didn't work.
Later he asked me to make new channel and this time i target my audience to be from U.S and U.K. I made video slideshow based on the hot trending list from google, in a few days i finally get some traffics and views on my videos. I keep doing it and uploading videos day by day. And at the end of the month i managed to get around $17. It was a good achievement for me and with that i can finally request PIN verification from Google Adsense.
The next month i keep making and uploading videos and managed to get around $110. I haven't get paid because my PIN verification is not arrived yet so i just keep uploading videos. But at the beginning of January 2017, I didn't earn that much money, i only get around $18. I'm very depressed and started to look for the reason behind the fluctuation of my earning. Then it seems that it's a common problem from Google Adsense that every year in the first month, there are not many advertiser placing ads.
I'm feeling down and i get bored of it. I didn't continue uploading videos and starting to look for another method to make money online.
Then blogging came as the new method that i will use on how to make money. BUT, HOW AM I GOING TO START BLOGGING?? No, i know how to make blog, i have basic knowledge on how to make it but what i'm going to write? I don't really like writing things, i'm very lazzy at this thing. I prefer to play online games than writing articles.
I read those tutorials on how to start with choosing niche, making domain names, and every other tips that i think will help me in blogging. It's just not work for me. They said it's good to choose a niche that you're good at or have knowledge about it. Choose something that you really love like a favourite or a hobby. But i don't even know what i'm really good at. I'm lazy, i like playing games, i don't like to work under other people and i don't even know if i will be able to write a blog.
So what am i gonna do? I get back to google.com and reading tips from professional blogger. I read so many articles from various sources and so many professional blogger. But i found this one very interesting get into my mind instantly.

I don't know what am i going to write later, or can i monetize and make money from this blog but i will just write whatever that come into my head.
I'm not a very organized person that can make plan before doing things. I will just end up thinking about those thing for days and didn't make anything, and i will just left it and play games.
But if what Johnny FD said is true, i will succeed in blogging and i maybe will come to your country and buy you a drink.
Btw, thank you if there's anyone that bear to read this worthless article. I bet you read this because you're facing the same problem with me or just have so much free time to spent.
